Rochester Recipe Run

The Rochester Public Market is an amazing place to get fresh local ingredients. Using any of the following unique ingredients available from the market on Saturday, prepare an original dish, and deliver it to RIT's Innovation Center on Thursday evening between 6 and 8pm. Along with your creation, make sure you provide the recipe you used. Your dish and recipe should both be labeled with your user name. (If you need your dish returned, you will be able to take it home at 10pm.) When you bring in your dish, we'll give you an achievement worth 500 points.

Your Ingredient Options:

  • Homemade Pizza Crust from DiPaolo Bakery
  • Local honey from Davis Honey
  • Habanero Cheddar from Larry's Cheese
  • Rochester Pepper Blend from Stuart's Spices

Our team of judges will select one winning dish for each of the ingredients, which will be announced on Friday, and featured in the newspaper the following week. The creators of the winning dishes will each receive a Kodak all-in-one printer, so they can print out their recipe whenever they'd like, as well as a pair of tickets to the Halloween Gala.
