Crossword Puzzle Early?

How do people already have points for the crossword puzzle that isn't supposed to be available until tomorrow (in the D&C)?

It's ok - the people who have got ahold of the crossword, mapitgirl and JJJ, are part of The Watch. That means we should celebrate their ingenuity in finding stores that are selling the paper early!

For the record, we did not find any stores that sell the paper early. We accidentally solved it while trying clues to solve the searcher achievement. Oops!!! We solved the crossword without even seeing it.

We hope you'll still solve the crossword puzzle tomorrow. It's a fun one, and even though you happened upon the key term early, the puzzle itself is challenging.
PS, everyone: The puzzle is on the back of the Sports section. The newsroom releases the page at 11:05 for early edition and it's after midnight before the page makes it off the press. So stores won't have newspapers earlier.

We were curious about that at first, too. Seems they were just really lucky at guessing!
Yah I was wondering the same thing. Seems kind of unfair if you ask me @.@
