Arnett Branch Library

As an avid gardener, I decided to use the Arnett Branch Library for this week's challenge. The "unique feature" may not be all that obvious unless you already know about it, so here is what I found.

When I entered the library, I looked around a bit, not exactly sure where to go. The librarian approached, commented on my camera, and asked if I were playing PTI. I said I was and she identified herself as a player and member of the Forge. She explained that the special feature is the Helen Martin Memorial Garden and pointed out where it is (a small alcove on the Warwick Ave side with various woody plants and perennials.)

She also directed me to a binder on the checkout counter that has the history of the garden and pictures of its construction. The book is quite interesting and is worth a look if you go there.

The head librarian has alerted the staff that the game is going on and that if people wander in with cameras they should direct them to the garden.
