Decryption co-op?
September 28, 2009 - 5:38pm
It occurs to me that it's rather silly for ALL of us to decrypt the Watchmaker's documents. The Caesarian Shift tool helps but it is still time consuming. Assuming that we'll see more of them, is anyone up for spreading the work around? Any ideas about the best way to do this?

I've setup a room on Chatterous (http://chatterous.com) if people would like to use it for collaboration and cooperation.
It's essentially a chat room, but you can join it via your regular IM accounts, twitter, or the web interface:
url: http://chatterous.com/ptiwatch/
email: ptiwatch@chatterous.com
jabber or google talk: ptiwatch@chatterous.com
phone: text CHTR ptiwatch to 41411
twitter: follow chtr and send a direct message with: ptiwatch
The passcode is 'watchmaker'

Okay, Watchers, a few of us already have some of the documents encrypted and available through Chatterous. No need for everyone to do it on their own. If you decrypt something that hasn't already been posted, please consider sharing it through Chatterous!

Any ideas on what we do with this decrypted information? Seems even more innocuous than the last batch.

I think we are all waiting to see if there is another Watchmaker post. Last time he posted twice; once to tell us about the line shifting, the second time that there was something to look for.

AWESOME :)
I have not slept yet... I will catch up after a nap...

Google documents probably. We could all collaborate on it, but also keep it invite only.
I've got the decryption done on this new one, now looking at patterns in the shifts.
