Ha! This Photosynth is going to be trickier than I thought!

The results of my quick iPhone camera trial-run... Not so hot... Only 48% Synthy...

I thought I'd actually get some manual control over the outcome, but I didn't... Need to make sure the pictures are as clear and similar as possible so that the tool can find similarities and relate them to each other.

Got any tips for the rest of us Jared? I took a picture every 2 steps in a spiral pattern around the horse, then moved in for coverage, but only ended up with 82%

My first attempt is also only 58% synthy.. Looking in grid mode you can see how the algorithm has grouped the pictures and identify where the gaps are, I think. Another thing I missed was that to get detailed closeups to show up, you need several pics approaching the closeup area.
It took me 10 tries before I got a 100% synthy rating. :)
