week 7 hard gears, someone help please!

I don't know what keeps happening for me, but I have managed to crash the game 6 times already trying to solve this one. I keep somehow making the center gear change speed and direction and then not being able to do anything to get it back. *sigh*

Same here. I can either get both top and the bottom left with the bottom right going too fast or both bottom and the top right with the top left going too slow. I've also crashed it about 6 times.

Count me in on the multiple crash list too. My computer sounds like it is about to launch a missle. Top 2 and bottom left then nothing.

I'm going to ramble here in hopes of talking myself into a solution! We have three light gray gears which can be used to stack on the dark gray ones to change the speed. Three of the four gears need speed changes - the top left needs to be slowed down, and the bottom two need to sped up, but each to a different speed. The top right gear "ka-chings" at normal speed. The only way I know of to slow it down is to use two light gray gears... wait... maybe that's the key... I need to find another way to slow it down without using two light gray gears. Or maybe I need to use two light gray gears but also need to find a way to multi-task at least one of those gears into another job...

The whole thing was definitely a team effort and we collaborated very well...like a mangrove forest, you could say. :-)
