Are the Achievements "You've got mail" and "I less than three bees" newspaper puzzles, local challenges, both, neither or some combination thereof?

The mail one is from an email that SCP sent to people who had registered with them. We can forward the message to you if you provide us with your email.

Maybe I got this differently, but the email was from D&C as an "update" with a code at the bottom. Anyone else? I keep reading it's from SCP but it isn't. Another player and myself each got different codes that gave the same "you've got mail" acheivement.
I didn't get the mail one, but the bees one is from Saturday's paper. If you don't have it, I'd be happy to email you a picture of it.
