uploading to youtube!

Hi, if anyone could help me figure out how to upload a windows movie maker file saved as (*.mswmm) into youtube that would be quite helpful. I looked at the "tips on uploading video," which did not provide any information whatsoever. I can get it to upload onto youtube, but not successfully. I get the error message "Failed (please export your movie in .wmv format)." The only option to save the windows movie maker file in seems to be .mswmm. Help!!

The most recent version of Windows Live Movie Maker, which is a free download from http://download.live.com/moviemaker?wa=wsignin1.0 , has built-in functionality to save to YouTube.

For those of you who have Windows XP and can't run the most recent version of Movie Maker, you can also take a look at OneTrueMedia (http://onetruemedia.com/), which lets you create a video with your own images, add music, put in captions, and upload it to YouTube :)

You can upload a .wmv to YouTube? I thought it had to be an mpeg 4. Well that will make this easier, thanks for the tip.

Did you use step 3 in WMM "Finish Movie?" When I do that it automatically saves in wmv format. I think mswmm file is the working version for the program.
