@firewood I see 36 invites sent from your Facebook ID on 9/21, 9/24, 9/25, 9/26, 9/27, and 9/28.
@TerraFoodlink Nothing we can do about that - the limit is set by Facebook.

I think the people who run fFacebook hate spam as much as anyone else, so they try to limit people to a small number of invites on things per day. This prevents you fFrom blasting everyone on your list with every inane thing that crops up. Invites are, therefore, a little more meaningful, because they are chosen at a limited rate. In theory. It's a good system, really.

Just invited my 50th and no achievement for me! Went through and counted the invites again: yep, fifty.
Is there a delay in the credit for this one? My 25 credit popped right up!

Counted 'em again...50.
Checked status - I have the maximum number of invites for the day.
Selected none and sent invites again - message saying I'd sent the max already.
Checked my achievements - nada.
Arrgghhh!

Mine is doing the same thing this morning! I couldn't get anything to happen when I hit the "send" invite button from firefox today. I closed everything down and did it in IE. It looks like it sent the invites... when I count my list there are 50 there, but no achievement awarded. :-(

I have never, since the game began, been able to invite Facebook friends. I go through the link at the PTI site, but none of my friends have ever shown up.

I counted I have 52 invites and it appears I do not have the achievement. Please help.

@Dev I show you as having sent 52 invites but that they were sent to 45 individuals - i.e. 7 of your invites were re-invitations. We only count individuals once for the achivement.
@scr.apchris (argh, stupid filter) Same situation. 46 individuals, 50 invites.
@shilfiell Same situation. 47 individuals.
I have adjusted the page to display each invited individual only once for clarity.

Thanks ceejay!
Tomorrow I'll reclaim my rightful spot on the leaderboard.
That's the spot that's well out of range of the leaders but still high enough to motivate me. :)

BTW, three of my invites today at least were re-invites because I didn't see any notice that those didn't count and all invitations had to be unique - I won't quibble and can still make 50 tomorrow, but maybe this should be specified more clearly?
Thanks -

Well, the achievement labels do say 'invite x Facebook friends', not 'invite the same Facebook friend 50 times'... ;-)

@ceejayoz Yeah along the same lines as shilfiell. Not trying to sound too picky here, but the note that the top of the invite page, "By default, you can re-invite friends up to once every three days." , makes it sound like multiple re-invites are allowed to count. I figured that was in place so that the people who don't have 50 facebook friends can still eventually get the achievement. Had I known otherwise my choice in people to invite would be different.
PS Thanks for dealing with all us whiners

Yup, that problem was why I always chose the option of the page showing only those I had not invited. Problem solved.
It is a bit ambiguous on the face of it though, should be a bit clearer. Micci

@Dev Good point, I've updated the wording to be a little clearer there.

What is the maximum number of points you can get for inviting facebook friends? Anything above 50 friends/250 points?

If you invite 100,000 you get a cookie.
(nope :-)

Thanks, ceejayoz. Some of us are (ahem) well past the demographic group that uses facebook (yes, I know that's your target audience) and the young whippersnappers with all their facebook friends are leaving us in the dust.

@ceejayoz I'll shoot for 100,000, but it better be a chocolate chip, not a web tracking cookie!

I appreciate that you are looking for unique invites, but it's really a bummer that it didn't specify that anyplace before now. The text mentioning you could invite the same friend every three days made it sound like that was specifically allowed! :-(

@scr.apchris I appreciate that you are looking for unique invites, but it's really a bummer that it didn't specify that anyplace before now.
The only wording indicating an achievement would be earned for inviting friends is in the achievement text, and it did specify that it was for inviting 50 friends, not sending 50 invites. Re-invitations are available so you can nag someone if you really want them to join, but they don't count towards the achievement.

Oh... One more week of inviting different friends then.

I can only invite 4 people at a time on Facebook. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!
