Error on Submit Answers page
September 15, 2009 - 7:03pm
Every time I attempted to click on the tab for URL Submission on the mail Submit Codes and Answers page, I get an error saying that I have data in one of the current tabs that will be erased if I continue. The front tab is actually blank and I haven't attempted to enter a thing there. I click past the warning and enter my URL for the Horse Synth, then submit - and I get both a confirmation and an error, saying that an illegal choice has been detected and to please contact an administrator.
I get the same thing in both the Safari and Firefox browsers, using Mac OS 10.5.8.
I just uploaded my Synth URL to the page dedicated for Synth submissions and did not get the error - I'm just worried about entering codes for tomorrow's games. This error was not appearing earlier today when I did the video puzzles.
Forging on....

I keep getting:
"An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator."
For various puzzles. I get this on both Windows XP and Mac 10.4

I get the error when I try to navigate away from the Submit Codes tab, though - it looks like the error is on that tab which is the default.
I'd happily send in a screenshot of both the warning message and the error received when hitting the Submit button on the other tabs.

This week there will be nothing that requires you to use the URL Submission tab, so you shouldn't run into any problems.
