SCVNGR Hunt Achievements

Since there's continuing confusion about how to get a weekly SCVNGR hunt achievement, here's an overview of the process:

(a) do the hunt on your phone, or accompany someone who is doing the hunt on their phone. the team pilot will get a team code from SCVNGR that you'll all need to enter onto the PTI website later
(b) have someone take the required photo at the end of the hunt, and include all players who intend to submit the team code for the achievement (remember to send "DONE" back to SCVNGR after taking the photo)
(c) have one person send the photo to pics@scvngr.com. If you get a message back that your photo wasn't properly received, try opening and resaving your photo in a photo editing program; the metadata associated with some camera images causes SCVNGR to not recognize the photo properly.
(d) enter your SCVNGR team code on the PTI website. If you don't get a confirmation message back from PTI about your SCVNGR hunt achievement pending, your teamcode probably wasn't received, and you should try again.

Between 8pm Thursday and 8pm Friday, we *manually* review all team code submissions on the PTI site, and match them with the photos submitted to SCVNGR. If you have submitted a valid teamcode, and there's a matching photo, you'll be assigned the achievement. If you don't receive your achievement by Friday evening at 6pm, but think you've followed all the steps above, please send an email to picturetheimpossible+hunt@gmail.com, with your user name, your SCVNGR team code, your team pilot's phone number, and the photo. We'll try to verify that you completed the hunt on time.
