PTI Advisor and ARG Pioneer Elan Lee Speaking in Rochester Next Week!
October 2, 2009 - 10:50am
Those of you who are fans of the ARG (alternate reality game) genre that PTI is based upon may be familiar with Elan Lee, one of the pioneers in this area of game design. He worked with RIT and D&C in the early planning stages of PTI, and his input was invaluable.
Here's Elan's wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elan_Lee
Next week, Elan will be here from Seattle to give a keynote address at RIT's entrepreneurship conference. You can find more details about the event, and register for it, on this website: http://www.rit.edu/cob/entconf/2009/
If you don't want to register for the conference, we will be "beaming" his talk to the RIT innovation center.
We're also looking into the possibility of streaming his talk online; if we do that, it's possible there might be a hidden clue somewhere in his presentation...
(If we can't make the video of his talk freely accessible during or after the conference, there won't be a clue; nobody should have to pay to attend the conference just to get an achievement!)
