
Rochester Recipe Run Winners

Last night's challenge was great fun for everyone involved. Our six judges are all fighting food hangovers this morning after sampling over 100 dishes!
Choosing one winner from each category was really difficult, but we ended up with the following selections:
* Pizza Crust from DiPaolo Bakery: David Sprout, Garbage Plate Deep Dish Pizza
* Local honey from Davis Honey: Scott Myers, Saffron Honey Ice Cream
* Habanero Cheddar from Larry's Cheese: David Volzer, Pumpkin & Habanero Cheddar Souffle
* Rochester Pepper Blend from Stuart's Spices: Kimberly Kay, Pittsford, Roasted Butternut Squash & Mango Soup
We are indeed hoping to compile a cookbook with the recipes, but that will require contacting each participant, since some of you used already-published recipes that we won't be able to reproduce.
