Webgame Bonus Points Resolution

Over the past few days there has been some confusion about how bonus points are assigned for webgames. This message is meant to provide clarification on that issue.

Effective today, the bonus-point cut-off for webgames is 8:00pm of the day they are released. For instance, solving a SlideTiles puzzle between 12:00am and 8:00pm on Monday for a given week will earn you 10, 20, or 50 points, depending on difficulty level. Solving that same SlideTiles puzzle any time after 8:00pm on Monday will earn you 5, 10, or 25 points, dependent upon difficulty.

We realize that this was not clearly communicated earlier this week (hey, we're learning as we go!). As such, we have retroactively awarded bonus points to those users who completed SlideTiles puzzles between 8:00pm and midnight on Monday, and/or Video Quiz puzzles between 8:00pm and midnight on Tuesday. Enjoy!

We apologize for the misunderstanding, and will continue to respond to your questions and concerns throughout the course of the game. Be advised, the 8:00pm bonus point cut-off is in effect for today's puzzle (Maptitude), and will remain so for the remainder of the game! So get to it!
