Game ends Friday, site lives on

The bad news is that we have to end the Picture the Impossible game at 8 p.m. Friday. What an amazing journey it has been, exceeding our expectations in nearly every way.
The good news: We're going to keep picturetheimpossible.com live, allowing registered users and unregistered guests play the Web games, read the forums and browse through the weekly recaps, articles and photo galleries.
Here's how this will work:
At 8 p.m. Friday we will freeze the leaderboard and no further achievements will be awarded. In the Sunday newspaper we will print the top 100 or so on the back of the Sports section, on the PTI page, which will end after this week.
Except for this "Looking Forward" topic, we will lock the forums and keep them accessible on a read-only basis. ONLY registered users (those who have registered for the game by 8 p.m. Friday) will be able to comment in this "Looking Forward" forum topic. We wanted to keep this one topic live because many of us have built relationships over the weeks and we want to be able to keep in touch. Plus, we hope you'll keep feedback coming so that we can build a sequel.
The Web games will stay live. Players won't get points for solving them but the accomplishment alone is worth something.
The site will be a permanent link on the D&C Web site, on the top nav bar under MULTIMEDIA. The RIT Lab for Social Computing also will link to PTI from its site.
By the end of next week we'll post on the PTI homepage a recap video that features many of you and the crazy things you've done for the game since mid-Sept.

Traci: When you say for playing games, will there be new content added? I have done all games except a few of the sliders, so would not have any more to do. I would definately come back for more quizzes about Rochester and more Jigsaws, loved those! Micci

At the moment we don't have plans to add new content, but you can go back and play the old ones!
Once we've had a chance to recover and regroup, we'll look at ways to update the content on an ongoing basis. It's most likely that there'd be new jigsaws and slider puzzles, since those only involve adding photos rather than writing content, but you never know. :)

Looks like it's UUencoded. YOu didn't include the "begin" line, so I'm not sure which fFlavor it is, but it's not too hard to deduce I suppose. I'll fFiddle with it later ... I have a party to get ready fFor now!!! :)
