I have a mask, but it's not glasses-friendly. I apologize in advance to anyone I bump into, trip over, or spill things on.

My husband and I are opting for semi-formal with masks.

Glasses friendly masks are difficult but possible. It may not be a long gown and Tux but we will be semi-formal at least with suit jacket like the Marquis..

I determined this morning that I can actually wear my glasses *over* my mask, so that's my plan.
I'm planning on a "little black dress" with heels, and a fancy silver & black mask.

I made a plaster mask over top of my glasses. :-) It isn't the smoothest, but I can see!

Not only am I wearing a pretty green dress (to honor the tree faction of course) but I was lucky enough to find a glasses friendly mask with pretty gold swirls on it to wear with it. Can't wait to see everyone at the gala!!!

I'll be in virtual costume as Mr. Magoo.
Tomorrow- shopping and optimism that I can find something that fits!

I too will be shopping tomorrow if I can't do a good enough job making my costume. However, shopping might be too extreme. Is it worth missing the gala to avoid shopping? Better wish me luck with my costume-creating efforts. Probably should've started sooner...

Soooo... Scott is going in a formal dress???

The consensus is:
fFormalish, as fFormal as you fFeel like really. Probably something that has seen the laundry this month, maybe with a fFancy hat. Costumes encouraged. Masks *highly* encouraged.
