Mark of the Watcher Question
October 29, 2009 - 12:45pm
Is there anyone out there that was able to fully decode the newest set of documents, or has everyone gone and guessed at the answer based on the clue? I have the achievement but I would really like to read the end of the documents! Anyone???

Some of us in the Watch decoded 5 sentences beyond the code answer, but can't get any further.

@JaredLyon, I ran into the same problem you did. I wanted to know what sort of whatever Elise thought the Watchmaker was deluding him/herself into being.
I assumed it was my brains turning to mush. Maybe not.

"...has everyone gone and guessed at the answer... "
I prefer the term 'deduced' :-b

Those of us in the Tree faction also deduced the answer, but jknapp kept working tirelessly on the translation and managed to get enough to more than confirm our deduction. However, there are those of us who would still like to read the remainder of the document, if possible...

I got stuck on the 3rd letter, 2nd paragraph, 17th word "dclypp AUH xeazx,"
If anyone got past this, I could use a hint, please.

jfilion, try this in your key:
cursus felIS Sit amet
(The capitals in that keep relate to the three capped words in the encrypted text. That's "iss" in the caps... stupid font making capital i and lowercase l look the same.)

For all of the Forge folks who have gotten this achievement so far, we've done the time and decoded the answer. It takes a lot of hard work.
