Even when there is nothing to do, this game continues to distract me from my homework...

I know that feeling. I can't help it if Maptitude is more interesting than studying for my Discrete test!

I'm looking for ways to ease the coming PTI withdrawal symptoms. If you liked the jigsaw puzzles, check out www.jigzone.com.

Thanks urbangrandma! That looks like something to look forward to. Is there someplace we can keep watching to know when it is announced?

We could also create our own scavenger hunts through the same tool PTI used (http://www.scvngr.com/). I plan to create at least one with my kids. I'm not sure how I'd be able to let you all know it's there once we do it, though. Maybe we should create a PTI Facebook group before this ends? That way we can keep in touch about these kinds of opportunities no matter what faction we originally joined?

I know in the next couple of days/weeks, many of will realize how much "free time" we actually have... And while I can not speak for all the charities (I am sure there is opportunity in all) but Wilson would LOVE volunteers! Taking even just 1 hour out of your week to read to a pre schooler or help with homework for the older kids.
Remembering that ALL of these kids come from Single Parent homes
mentoring and showing we care can make a HUGE difference ;)
I hope we reach out and find out more about the Charities from the other factions too.
Thank you for giving us this amazing awareness.

Also every year there is a race called High Trek Adventure that takes place downtown and is similar to the tv show Amazing race...So you can look forward to that in the spring/summer too! It's a ton of fun!
