Not the band or a fast train...

OK, I give up -- whose house appears in the Easy Slide Tiles this week?

Possible Cab Calloway's? Born in Rochester. Ran the Cotton Club for awhile.

I had wondered the same. I had searched for pics of his Roch. home, but found none. Looked at the Wikipedia list of people from Roch. NY that is maintained by Monroe County; too many musicians to list here. Could be Wendy O. Williams home. Probably not Teddy Geiger's hone.

I'm wondering if it was a musician at all....say there was a band and a famous person named Acela, wouldn't that fit the achievement? What other types of fast trains are there that could also be band names? Bullet? Shinkansen? Maglev?
The band Warrant did a song called Train, Train and the Warrant farm was a stop on the Underground Railroad. This is the closest I've gotten. :)

I don't think it has anything to do with a band. Isn't there a band called underground railroad? I think it may be Amy and Isaac Posts house on Sophia st.

The Underground Railroad used code to get its people through - The Stations were the places and the train times were meeting times and departure times, it was a well oiled and organized machine that lost very few people, there are stops in Rochester and Buffalo to Canada. I learned alot when I went on a tour in Buffalo and watched a documentary on it on PBS. Micci

@LtPowers, I found the link to it on the Monroe County website on their visitors page - at http://www.monroecounty.gov/visitor-index.php
I thought I saw a 'this site is maintained by ...' message, but perhaps I surmised it from the fact the link is featured on their website, and that it would be in their best interests to be sure the information on that page was accurate.
This page is not linked on the Roch. Visitor Center site, nor is it on the Roch. Convention Center site. If someone amended the page inaccurately or rudely, who else would it matter to to step in to correct things?

@shilfiell, I looked at the pictures, but didn't see the house I remembered. I thought we were talking about a run-down, white clapboard house with a wrap-around porch.

If you want to know, ask a reference librarian!

*cough* Susan B house was the easy jig saw puzzle.
The easy slide tile shows a rundown, white clapboard house with a wrap-around porch.
Joe, will you tell us whose house this is, please?

I didn't recognize the house, but the achievement text implies it is/was a musician's home.
