Ranking Question

Does anyone know how ties in the ranking system are settled? Do they count wrong answers or time submitted or something along those lines? I was just wondering why I dropped a few places to people with the same number of points and finished after me. Any ideas? Thank you! :D

You are ranked by the amount of points you have. You are not penalized for submitting wrong answers, as typos do happen :)

For clarification (and correct me if I'm wrong), you ARE penalized for wrong answers on the scavenger hunt. Codemaster was just referring to submitting answers here on the site.

The scoring on the scavenger hunt has no impact on your points in the game. To reduce confusion, we've now removed the score information from the message you get at the end.
If you finish the hunt, and submit the correct photo, your team will get full credit for the hunt (a 250 point achievement) on Friday.
It looks to me like as people earn the same score as someone else, they automatically come in on top of that score in the leaderboard. I'm assuming that all of the people that have the same score are actually really ranked the same at this point.
