I actually gave a talk this morning to the Monroe County Library System staff, and promised them that they'd be able to see all of the great stuff that our players create.
We plan to set up a publicly accessible site after the game is over, showcasing a lot of the best submissions.

The librarian that helped me out at Highland asked me to bring her a copy of my portrait for them to display. She was intrigued when I explained what I planned to do.

Unfotunately the maplewood Library did not have anything but a small piece of literature on Reynolds which couldn't help me. :( As it turns out William Reynolds didn't have anything to do with the Maple wood rose garden as I thought he did. He was only a seedsman for 7 years. There were more prominent seedsman in the industry during this time that would've been more interesting to do something on. I couldn't even find a picuture of the man. I thought I was going to find alot on this Famous Person. I even went to the RCGC as an additional source but wasn't able to find anything either.

Philly was going to close all of theirs but came through with the funding at the last minute. But public libraries are in an interesting position in the recession: increasingly valuable to the public, and increasingly seen as "fluff" that can be cut by some politicians.

Another librarian checking in - All of the City branch libraries are aiming to start "Friends" groups this year so, if you live in one of the library neighborhoods, go on in to your branch and volunteer. Your library needs you!

Agreed! I love my library! And, the manager at Phillis Wheatley was very helpful with my photo project this week. I hope PTI shares the completed works with them.
