Mystery Photo dropoff: Extended hours tonight!

Want to drop off your entry? An editor from the Picture the Impossible team will be on hand at the D&C from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening 10/8 for people who want to hand-deliver their Mystery Photo.
Traffic is heavy during rush hour and there is no stopping in front of the building, especially between 5 and 6 p.m. Metered parking is available on Broad Street. Call (585) 258-2322 and someone will pick up your entry at the front door of the Democrat and Chronicle, 55 Exchange Blvd., Rochester NY 14614.

Today, Oct 8th, is Thursday. I don't see how extending drop off hours today will affect a 5pm deadline on Friday Oct 9th.

We're not changing the cutoff time ... always has been 5 p.m. Friday. We're just staying open a little later tonight (Thursday). Tomorrow, doors close at 5 p.m. Does that clarify?

Thanks for doing that. We were heading downtown last night for a concert and it was nice to be able to do a handoff at 6:30.
** EDIT ** I'm a big doofus. Thought that the post above was referring to Friday and therefore said the following: PLEASE IGNORE. **
But, according to tbauer's previous post these *should not* apply to *this* weeks points, right?
Her quote was: "Anything we receive by Friday at 5 p.m. will be counted toward this week's points."
It does affect game strategy to be changing these cut off times.
Please clarify which week the points will apply to for submissions made after 5pm at the D&C office.
