I created a spreadsheet as a shared document on Google -- that may be an easier way to have people record what they're contributing. Here's a link to the document:
Foodlink Donations spreadsheet
Link should open in a new window. Anyone can edit the document. Just put your name in the appropriate columns (there are 10 columns per food item). I've already put in the info from the existing posts.
Micci, are you volunteering to collect the food on Sunday and deliver it on Wednesday? (The collection point/time isn't convenient for me, so really appreciate that someone else might be willing to do that...)

The spreadsheet is a thing of beauty! How clever are you? I will volunteer to collect and deliver. It will give me a good reason to clean out the back of my car!

Thanks for doing this. I'm not exactly sure what the plan is for folks that:
- can't make the Sunday time
- can't make the RIT drop off
I'm more than willing to donate, but neither time works for me.
I'm assuming the spreadsheet right now is for folks who will either be meeting on Sunday or can drop off at RIT.
On a side note: if folks would do the rocdeals challenge for this week, we might not end up in third place. It's 500 points.

Saphir :TY for the Spread Sheet, it is a great idea. Is there some way to put that spreadsheet on the Forge Page on FB??? If so, more of the members would see it, can we maybe send them an event invite to come here to see it or to see it on FB and add items if they can, we dont have much time for this challenge, we need to get it done quickly. Good suggestion, I'll add a link to it on the Facebook page.

What time should we be at the LovinCup in order to not miss the scavenger hunt? If we get to the LovinCup after that, then everyone has gone.
I've bought my juice donation and donated to Foodlink.

My favorite color is probably black, so that won't work. :)
I did block off 3 Rice and 5 Jelly/Jam, though - now I can go to Weggies and get a two-fer!

You can drop stuff off at the Arnett Branch Library, 310 Arnett Blvd. - just tell them it's for Deb and I will get it. We are open 11 to 6 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 11 to 7 on Tuesdays. I will make the trip to deliver all he foon after we close on Wednesday.

I'm out of town this weekend but can probably help UrbanGrandma transport stuff on wednesday. Totally bummed that the scavenger hunt is weekend only!

Okay, as of now, we have 57 of 110 food items accounted for. I will note that Tree's list requires them to provide 49 items total, and Watch's list requires them to provide 45 items. Granted, a few of their items could be a little more expensive (Tree's video games, Watch's MP3/CD players). But it's still a little skewed in terms of people in faction vs. number of items.
We really need to get every Forge member's help here! Perhaps you have relatives willing to donate a can/box or two? Please put your 'pledges' on the spreadsheet so that we'll know whether we've got everything covered, and then make sure to bring your items to the Sunday meet-up, Arnett Library, or the RIT drop-off on Wednesday.
Foodlink Donations spreadsheet
I wish there was a way to blanket email Forge members, so we can reach anyone who doesn't read the forums...

I can spare 8 cans of vegetables. I'll drop the cans off to Deb at the library or off to RIT. Thanks!

I just put in for the remaining 100% juices.
It's likely that other Forge members will drop off food even if they don't see this thread. I'd hate to be one can short of something while swimming in a sea of other items.
We may have more items to get than the other factions, but it sounded as though the total cost of the items per faction was about the same.

I put in for the remaining PB & J's. I'll drop off at the library to urbangrandma.

From spreadsheet, looks like we just need rice still to fill minimum quantities. I brought some extra fruit and jams to the meet. There was a lot of food in Deb's car when we left the meetup.

According to the spreadsheet, everything's accounted for except for 3 rice! If you haven't contributed already, there's your opening!
There were quite a few food items brought to the Sunday meetup, including some not on the spreadsheet. It certainly doesn't hurt to have extra items, as long as we make sure that rice is covered!

I can probably handle it. I'll pick up rice plus other stuff and drop off at the library.

I dropped off my additional juices to the Arnett Library this morning.
Deb, what time do you anticipate getting to RIT on Wednesday? I can try to meet you there to help unload. I left my phone number with today's juice bottles. If you call, ask for Newc (sounds like Nuke).

I'll drop those veggie cans off to RIT tonight.
