Had the following e-mailed to me...the initial part that i did not include was that it was forwarded from a parent of a student at our local HS.

"Please feel free to pass this along... it is worth the effort!
Wilson Commencement Park is the Charity of choice for the WATCH group of Picture the Impossible...
The Watchers have mostly been in last place due to lack of people...
we are doing a last minute (only 2 more weeks left) membership drive.
If we are listed at the top spot our charity get $1000 for that week!!! We have only been able to raise $600 once and $400 every other week...
we are asking LOTS of people to sign up under the WATCH and play...
there are levels of playing...
casual... doing all the webgames (the previous ones count for points tooo!) THESE PLAYERS CAN BE FROM OUT OF TOWN TOO!!!!
moderate.... doing the weekend puzzles that appear in the newspaper
and well us... doing everything we can to get our charity money (or fame for some of us)

Please sign on up with PicturetheImpossible.com
Sign up as a WATCH member.

I will personally do my best to catch you up on any points that you can still earn :)
just email me at drheatherfeinman@yahoo.com

THIS IS IMPORTANT and goes to a VERY good CAUSE!!!!

thank you for your time... the children thank you too!!!

Well, hmmmmmm, AND... LOL Good Recruiting effort, but they are WAY in last place this week, lol, so what do you want us to do, recruit more HS kids? I have tried that, we are lucky if they dont laugh us off the planet. They are too busy playing bloody, gory and death-dealing stuff to bother. And that is including my nephews and nieces! Micci

I'd like to point out that if one plays one's cards right, there's ample time for bloody gore and jigsaw puzzles, too.

And if you like the Saw series like I do, you can combine hobbies.

Muhahaha.

That's good to know. Will you talk to my son and get him to sign up?

Colin and Inure, I was not referring to you, I was referring to my nephews and nieces, whom, I had invited back in Sept to join PTI. They are OLDER teens and they have so many gaming choices that this one did not make any of them interested. You two are really good reasons why getting teens involved in community efforts is a GREAT IDEA! Micci

I see the Tree has passed us by 4000 points in less than a day. I don't see any new kinds of achievements in the top 20 on the Leaderboard - or anything other than this week's achievements e.g. no Invite Facebook Friends kinds of achievements. How did they do it? They may be recruiting more members too. It seems to be too big of a leap to attribute it to them giving each other the answer to the Mark of the Suffragist. Maybe Mark of the Suffragist and Under Construction together?

I've talked this game up with my friends, and acquaintances. I haven't found anyone yet who is playing the game. Most say they don't do puzzles or they don't understand the game - and don't want to try to. I was mightily confused my first week, so I've said it gets more understandable as you go on. I've talked of staving off Alzheimer's. Neither helped.

My son, a dedicated World of Warcraft player, has accompanied me on the scavenger hunts. I've said, "If you register on picturetheimpossible.com and enter our team code on the submissions page, Foodlink will get more money. It's easy and doesn't take much time. You've already done the hard part." But at the end of both hunts, he said, "Nah."

hmmm, the scavenger hunts themselves are available only for a week, but can the team code be successfully entered after that week's hunt is over? The second person on the team doesn't need to submit a photo, so scvnger.com isn't involved. I might still be able to get 500 more points for the Forge if I can get him to register.

double hmmm, if the hunt team codes can be entered weeks after the hunts are over, could the Trees be giving out team codes to Trees who haven't done the hunt?

Oh. Or maybe the tress got more people to do this week's Paper People and scavenger hunt. I should be focusing on what legitimate ways they are using to win and not thinking they're being sneaky.

Scavenger hunts run Saturday to Thursday 8pm. You can't enter the code after that. Most time dependent games like the hunts, challenges, and newspaper puzzles have the Thursday 8pm deadline. Any of the "Mark of the ..." achievements, "easter eggs", Watchmaker stuff, and online games are not time sensitive. Trees just have the numbers on us. For every casual tree player doing a puzzle a day, we'd have to have 2 player's to keep up.

We're still really close, if we can get even 50 of our casual player's completing a few online games today, we have a chance to overtake them.
