emails from the D and C

I see from a General Discussion thread titled "Another Gala Question" (at http://picturetheimpossible.com/forums/general-discussion/5298 ) that the Democrat and Chronicle is sending emails about PTI on Fridays. They sent one Oct. 9th about the PTI Gala.
I received one email from the D&C about the SCP security breach, but otherwise received nothing.
How do we get on their emailing list?

I didn't get the Oct. 9th email from the D&C about the Gala. I received only one email from the SCP emailing list, the one sent Oct. 9th. I didn't receive an intro SCP email.
I have no control over my spam filter and cannot see what has been caught in it.
Where do we sign up to get on the regular Friday emailing D&C list? If it is the same place where we signed up for and got the SCP email, there's a problem.
Does anyone know what addresses we can add to our allowed lists or address books to get past a spam filter?

You will get the D&C e-mails from PTI simply because you are signed up for Picture the Impossible.
The SCP e-mails you will get if you follow some of the links over at clockworkexposure.com and do something that will get you on a mailing list (it's pretty obvious when you get there)...

@Delos - I whitelisted *@democratandchronicle.com and picturetheimpossible@* and it seems to have worked. Probably wouldn't hurt to add in *@picturetheimpossible.com as well.

They were already whitelisted/added to my address book, plus @e.democratandchronicle.com.
I get the 'PTI achievement unlocked' emails just fine. I'm still not getting the News and Updates emails.
On a hunch, I just now checked the Profile I updated in the D&C email about the SCP security breach. It shows the address I first registered under when I joined this game.
Before this SCP email had been sent on Oct 9th, I had to change the email address in my PTI profile. I was unable to log in to my Facebook account from PTI as long as I used the original email address. (Kept getting 'Facebook is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later' messages)
Turned out the problem was that my husband (not a PTI member) had created his own Facebook account using that same original address. When I tried to update my original email address in the SPC security breach email, it said it couldn't do it and to try again later. I figured the point of the update was the "user defined" information and so forgot about the addy problem.
I think I have to change my husband's Facebook email address to disconnect my original PTI account email addy from Facebook, and then change my PTI account addy back to the original. May even need to change my Facebook addy to that of my original PTI account addy.
In my spare time, of course.
The PTI and SCP mailing lists are separate even though the source is always "democratandchronicle". You seem to be getting all of the e-mails. The PTI ones come out on Fridays and the SCP ones come out when needed. To date, there have only been two SCP e-mails. One intro e-mail and one last week.
