new achievement- bees
October 9, 2009 - 1:45pm
I noticed a couple players receiving a new achievement this afternoon.... "I less than three bees: A pioneer comes back" I have a couple ideas about this, but wonder if it was necessary to be at a certain lecture at RIT this afternoon? Was anyone there, and have any leads? Leads, not codes:).... it's worth 100 points, and I'm now hooked on trying to solve this latest riddle!

Gotta be the Keynote - I think Elan Lee's name was blacked out of one post in Support, and AvonPaintball posted in that same thread saying the Keynote was excellent. A.P. received the achievement earlier today.

The keynote *was* excellent. And there should be a story about it in tomorrow's paper...

I'm sure it has to do with the Keynote speech. Check out this bio page for the conference, might give you a clue what to look for...

It cant be the Elan Lee Talk because the clue on that will be in the paper tomorrow, has to be the hornet thing, someone already has the achievement, logically it could not be the keynote address if its not online or in the paper yet. Micci

It's only after reading and listening that I realized that I'd actually PLAYED the game referenced in the achievement, years ago, until I got overwhelmed with other stuff. That was FUN, and very challenging. :)

Eek, I've never heard of the game I Love Bees.
The achievement is called "1 less than 3 bees" .... are we then looking for two bees? .... To be, or not to be, is that the question? To be a gamer?

As usual, I overthought this one. The newspaper article is very helpful. Micci is on to something.

That was very entertaining! As for the code, there weren't that many to try. I typed them all in... but my computer response was slow, so I was always seeing "incorrect code". Then I happened to look at recent achievements... and there was my credit...
So... I'm not sure which code I typed was the correct one!
Too fun.

I got it quickly so its not that bad and am wondering if there was anything else, seems almost TOO SIMPLE, if ya know what I mean, are they going easy on us, or is there something else in the paper we missed? If anyone sees or hears anything, just post it, it will get around. I didnt see any other references. Nice piece about Eastman Theater though. Micci

Thanks!

If it has something to do with the keynote talk at RIT, it will be uploaded to this site today or tomorrow (per a post in the support section).
If it has something to do with the watchmaker and hornets, then it's been around for a few days and people are only starting to figure it out...
