Nope. Nada. Zero followers. I've tweeted and poked to no avail. No e-mails received from SCP either.

I figured out a way to follow the little bugger, but I am not being followed by anyone. Maybe my twitter security settings are not right or maybe they just don't like me...

Also can't explain why certain tweets are being posted and other players aren't. Is it because they've used some sort of secret code word or is it just random? (Or, did they only post tweets from folks whose twitter accounts don't match their PTI user name?)

This is one of the more interesting parts of the game for me, so thanks for the heads-up...

Yes I to am being followed so now I'm following them. I don't get twitter at all, so I check it, but have no clue what to do with it.

I've received 2 tweets, but I don't think I'm doing anything special. Believe me... I have NOT been among the first to figure out these kinds of secrets!

Rats... now I have to read about people getting e-mails from SCP that I'm not... (spam filter says -- nothing there). Maybe my ISP (Frontiernet) is blocking them?

Given that I am not the only one having the SCP e-mail issue, I think it would be perfectly "fair" to forward the e-mail to me. (Shilfiell has same issue.)

I just received the "real" SCP e-mail:

Time received in my in-box: 11:57 PM EDT

Somewhere along the line that poor e-mail got waylayed... (e-mail service = frontiernet.net).

I open it up and.... rats! It just tells me to go do something I already did.

Oh well... the good things are I know I *can* receive these e-mails now and most of the codes aren't really that time sensitive.

Still...it's trouble for someone like me who doesn't want to miss out on this part of the game...

sorry I updated my Internet Explorer to see if that helped and the computer just spazzed out, and it didn't solve the problem

IE is definitely Spastic about this page, I switched to OPERA and updated my Flash Player, it helped some, so try it and let us know if it works. Micci

I use Firefox as my web-browser. Have you tried that? Also, if you are trying from work, your employer might be blocking this type of access.

What's the name of this achievement? Is it You've Got Mail?

I joined Twitter today just to see what this following thing was about. My request to follow SCP_rochester has been pending for hours. Dunno if this means something is wrong, or if the approver took the day off.

I see SCP_rochester is following about 126 people, and 169 people are following it. The 126 must be those who figured out the achievement.

I achieved You've Got Mail without twitter, so I wonder if y'all are referring to a different SCP email.

No, Collaborator was week one. This is something new, we haven't learned much about yet, it is not clear what is going on with this one, it is ongoing and detailed in the forums as part of the watchmaker story. Micci

Delos - there is no achievement associated with this... at least not yet. It will, most likely, be a source of information for future achievements.

Don't worry about the delay for Twitter. The SCP staff is crazy busy and it usually takes them a few days to do the SCP stuff.

Once you do get "accepted", you should have the opportunity for additional achievements and actions. You may have to do an additional task in order to pique the interest of the Marquis.

How does one find the forge facebook page ? I have PTI befriended.

Use the search feature in Facebook to search for: PTI Forge Faction

Mikey, I'd send you an invite to the group but your Facebook page isn't linked in your profile...search for Shilfiell and friend me and I can hook ya up with the Forge group page, or search under Groups and you'll see it.

Can't wait to see new members in the group!

Okey-doke re Mark of the Collaborator - Narrative Achievement. I saw it yesterday on Micc's achievement list toward the top & thought it was new. I've taken to looking at high scorers' achievement lists to see what new ones are being found.

Before I saw these replies today, I found a thread on this in General Discussion at from http://picturetheimpossible.com/forums/general-discussion/618

In that thread, a PTI staff member, mamamusings, posted on 9/12/09 ... "Narrative achievements are harder to find, because they're hidden in various places around the web and the city. This weekend (remember - she posted this on 9/12), one of the narrative achievements is hidden in some material that anyone doing the scavenger hunt might encounter. Another is on a website, but not this one. :) "

Made it sound as though there was more than one Narrative achievement. Guess it'll have a different name.

From a prior post (didn't go looking for it), Liz said that that achievement was no longer active, but that there would be a chance to achieve it again later in the game.

OK... found it, Liz said back on September 12th:

"There will be other opportunities to get the narrative achievements. They don't expire this week, so don't panic!"
