I’m currently a graduate student at Rochester Institute of Technology working on a BS/MS in bioinformatics and a minor in creative writing. I graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with a biotechnology AS degree and right now I’m working my way through thesis research and working at the Democrat & Chronicle. I originally got involved in this project through the Interactive Multimedia Project class at RIT as Narrative Lead; afterwords I took the design/development internship at D&C and worked on the implementation of the Narrative puzzles and related sites (as well as some visual design for the factions). I do a bit of writing outside on my own, science fiction and fantasy mostly. I like cats but do not currently have any occupying my home, a problem I work to rectify.
